Betty Hunt began her career with Addison in November of 1999. She is a familiar face to most of our customers and holds two decades of knowledge; she is always the first person to ask when you want to know where something is or how something works. To mark her contributions and the 20-year milestone we sat down with her and asked the following questions:
Betty, what has kept you at Addison for 20 years?
“Jim and Brenda- they are the reason. They have made me part of their family and I can truly say I love my job!”
You have seen a lot of change over your time- what is one thing that has always remained the same?
“The thing that has been the same since the beginning is the care for the customers. Everyone is here to help their customer. We want to get their vehicles fixed right so that they can succeed in their own lives, in whatever they have going on.”
What has been your favorite part of your 20 years?
“Two things, the relationship with the customers and watching Jim and Brenda’s family grow.”
What are you most excited about for the future of Addison?
“That they keep me as long as they want me! I don’t want to retire because I enjoy my job! I enjoy using my brain and having fun with everybody.”
