We're cleaning up the hood!
On Saturday, May 20th the East Evans Business Association will be holding the 5th Annual Clean Up in conjunction with Denver's city-wide Clean Up Day. Volunteers are signing up and YOU CAN TOO! Email Nancy Barlow to sign up or to receive more information. Join your neighbors at 9:00 am sharp where we will congregate at the Milo's Tavern parking lot at the corners of Monaco and Evans to form into teams, don the FREE t-shirt, get your assigned areas to clean and to pick up your supplies.
Cleaning the East Evans corridor is a wonderful community event that unites neighbors and business owners in the Cook Park and Virginia Village south boundaries. You feel a sense of pride and you get to know your neighbors. And, after the cleaning you will enjoy a FREE lunch.
Addison Auto Repair & Body Shop is sponsoring this community pride event and as an added bonus we will offer a discounted membership to the East Evans Business Association (EEBA) for 1 year. You can be a member of the EEBA for only $10 (regular price is $25 – Addison Auto will cover the remaining $15).
Membership to the EEBA gives you the opportunity to meet local businesses on a personal level, hear regularly from your City Council Representative, Paul Kashmann, and enjoy interesting presentations from local organizations that keep you informed about a number of civic and personal topics related to our neighborhood. Come and find out what’s happening in our hood!
Sign up by May 1st to get your FREE T-shirt and lunch by Emailing Nancy Barlow here.
